After years of unsuccessfully trying to start our family and being advised to try alternative approaches by our medical consultants, we decided to look at surrogacy.
We chose the clinic based on internet research, but mainly following several Skype meetings and detailed email communications with Louise Riding. Louise provided a comprehensive overview of what surrogacy would entail and answered the many questions we had. Essentially, Louise joined us on our surrogacy journey, from beginning to end, providing guidance, assistance, liaison between our on-site clinical team and Ukrainian lawyers as well as moral support. She was always available and quick to provide updates.
Our surrogate, Anna, fell pregnant in September 2019 and delivered our beautiful and longed for daughter in May 2020, and we are eternally grateful to her for helping us realise our dream.
Our daughter was born during the global pandemic, just as flights were grounded and entry to Ukraine was incredibly challenging. It was a team effort, and once again Louise did everything she possibly could to provide support in both getting us to Ukraine and helping us to return home.
We were committed to the surrogacy path to realise our family but doing this with Louise by our side made life so much easier. Her knowledge of all aspects of surrogacy, her many contacts, strong relationships with local Ukrainian medical and logistic teams is second to none and she always goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Our daughter is thriving and an utter joy. It has been a long and challenging journey for us, but one which has resulted in us having a beautiful, much-loved, and longed for daughter.
